Malkin Replaces Coulter at Augusta Chronicle
From Editor & Publisher:
The Augusta (Ga.) Chronicle has become the second newspaper to drop Ann Coulter’s column this month, explaining that her “stridency” had crossed the line.
Coulter, of Universal Press Syndicate, is being replaced by another conservative columnist — Michelle Malkin of Creators Syndicate.
As David Cross put it when describing the racism he observed in Boston after moving there from the Atlanta area: “Out of the frying pan, and into the other frying pan.”

This is a great move on the part of the August Chronicle. Michelle Malkin is far more prolific in her writings and exposes. It is also another stepping stone for Malkin’s increasing influence on correcting the media’s bias.

Wait. I thought Malkin’s shtick was to replace the outdated MSM with “new media.” I’m not sure being published in the Augusta Chronicle qualifies.

I doubt that she will give up her other “new media”. Her website appears to be very well read and the Hot Air program just launched. I would expect her commentary in the Augusta Chronicle will simply give her additional exposure.

Follow up comment - Michelle can kiss her viewship goodbye if she runs another one of her sing-a-longs like she did today. It was painful to listen to. It strikes me as the same as the one Connie Chung sang when she was kicked off the cable show.
