New Logo
I’m getting married tomorrow, but I’ve bought all of you a gift in lieu of receiving embroidered bath towels. As a reward for completing my own personal smoking cessation program, I commissioned the above piece from Ted Rall, who has two new books coming out that can be preordered from Amazon (or your favorite local bookstore) [*Ding!*].
Nota bene: This is not the first time Michelle has been portrayed as a Nazi in the Visual Arts of the Prestigious Internets. The Rev. Mykeru of the Church of the Subgenius was kind enough to send along these two pieces he did for his blog in 2005, the first being a bit more obvious.

Mein Queef

Fascist Hello Kitty
Oh yeah: Fuck civility and the peg-legged bitch it rode in on.
Update: (7/22, early afternoon) Looks like some incoherent blogger seems to think MW is a “hate site.” As would be expected from an individual with an apparently third grade education, he doesn’t offer up any content-based evidence besides reprinting the new logo without permission.
That’s fine. Stealing has become an all too typical hobby of political ingrates. I would at least have hoped for some fair analysis on what is “hate-filled” about Rall’s wanna-be Schütze Malkin piece. And I also think it to be of poor form for Michelle to send her lackeys my way: She should comment on what is so angering about this site; or just keep her reflexive opinions to herself and get back to cheerleading the mass oppression of brown people.

Wow, congratulations on the marriage! Two blogists of note getting hitched, it’s a beautiful thing.

Congrats on marriage also! Weddings are fun! Take pictures and post please!
Hope you two have a happy life together!

You’re not getting married tomorrow.
You’re totally not.
Cause if you are, I’m gonna have to kill you for not telling me, and then you’ll never make it to the altar.

I’m sorry, if “queef” is the term for “words” coming out of Malkin’s “mouth”, what’s the term for me spewing beer out of my nose???
Oh, Rev. Myk. May Golden Apples of Discord rain down upon thee!!!

Congratulations, with symphathy to your fiancee. Based on your ranting on this web site, I give the wedding 6 months until she figures out who she married.

JBenson…, if that is indeed your real name…,
Pretty impressive talk, for some jagoff who’s blog doesn’t allow comments! Bigger jagoff even, for waiting till Ryan’s busy doing something else (enjoying the honeymoon) before you’ve got the guts to smear.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone! I’ll see if I can’t get some pictures up sometime next week. Lots of other changes are taking place in my personal life, right now. All for the positive, of course!
I hope you’re all having as great a weekend as I am.

Ryan, you two are the best and deserve same. When is your first novel going to be finished? How about the short stories we discussed. Your marriage won’t slow down the ambiguously unclear deadline for your writing will it? I want to be the first in line at the book signing!

“Looks like some incoherent blogger seems to think MW is a “hate site.” As would be expected from an individual with an apparently third grade education, he doesn’t offer up any content-based evidence besides reprinting the new logo without permission.”
You have images referring to Malkin as a Nazi/Hitler. Does that count as content-based evidence?
BTW, your total ignorance regarding amnesty for all illegal immigrants shows how clueless you are regarding the issue. If you had ever been around or known someone who immigrated here legally (which apparently you haven’t), then would understand why people are against open borders and amnesty.

No, he has images juxtaposing Malkin as a Nazi/Hitler.
In order to call attention to the fact that there are many similarities.
Hope that helped.

TMFA: If you had ever been around or known someone who immigrated here legally (which apparently you haven’t), then would understand why people are against open borders and amnesty.
Wrong on the first count: I have been around immigrants of all kinds. And this has helped me to understand that “people are against open borders and amnesty”, because they have allowed their bigotry and xenophobia to cloud their judgment.
Comment by Ryan — July 23, 2006 @ 1:15 am
Btw, I think we’re all missing the big story here:
Ryan is straight. That’s what he’s alluding to, here, the goddamn breeder. This really makes a lot of things clear! He likes pussy! He subscribes to Pussy Weekly! Who cares what the he-man woman-lover thinks, anyway? The guy has SEX with GIRLS!!!

Not that there’s anything wrong with that!

Ryan: “that “people are against open borders and amnesty”, because they have allowed their bigotry and xenophobia to cloud their judgment.”
Ryan, please don’t tell me you are this naive and uninformed when it comes to the illegal immigration issue (or debating any issue). Open borders advocates like yourself (i.e. about 7% of the population) call those against amnesty and open borders bigots and xenophobes. Do you really lack a solid argument that you must result to name calling those with whom you disagree??
The reason I (and most common sense people) are against amnesty is because it is not fair to reward people who broke the law and don’t follow the rules with the same prize as those who do follow the laws and obey the rules. For example, suppose a teacher says that a paper is due on January 17 and every day it is late it will be marked off 10% (fairly standard procedure for English/History classes). So I turn my paper in on the 17th and get an 85%. Jimmy turns his paper in on the 19th and gets an 85%, but the teacher decides not to take off the 20% for it being late (He really should have had a 75%). So we both end up with the same grade even though I followed the teacher’s rules and Jimmy didn’t. Is that fair?? No, it’s not and I would hope that 99.5% of people would agree that it is not fair. (Now there may have been some extenuating circumstance so great that resulted in Jimmy not turning his paper in on time–grave illness, family/medical emergency, etc. If that is the case, then he is allowed a reasonable exception.) But the problem is that regarding illegal immigration we’re not talking about 1 or 2 exceptions; we’re talking about 11-12 million exceptions and the exceptions far outnumber those who followed the rules.
Now, you would probably counter that you want open borders and therefore want no “procedures” or “rules” for any immigrants (those wanting to come here illegally and those planning to come here legally). Well, I can only say that this idea (open borders for all) is one of the stupidest, most dangerous ideas I have ever heard. Why? Crime and Security. The whole reason for “borders” and to require immigrants to go through procedures before they are granted visas, green cards, and citizenship is to ensure that they are law-abiding people. Not just for crime like drug trafficking, robbery, vandalism, murder, but also for large scale threats of terrorism. Did you not see 9/11?? Do you want more events like those to happen here? Because the second you “open the borders” you’ll have hundreds (if not thousands) more Mohammed Atta’s here with one goal in mind: complete and total destruction of America.
Seriously, do you understand that the reason for borders is to prevent the unlawful bad people from coming here?
Comment by truthmattersfa — July 23, 2006 @ 10:11 pm
Dear TMFA,
That comment was total gibberish. You come out from under your bed for as long a stretch of time it takes to write all that, and you don’t have time to actually read my blog. I would recommend looking through the MW posts filed under immigration.
I’ll be happy to move the discussion there or clarify my position with follow-up posts. I’m coming to this in good faith just as you’re coming to it as a bigot.
By the way, that’s not name calling. I’m just calling it like I see it. I believe I have enough patience buried in my synapses for people like you. In other words, I call you a racist just as you would call me a liberal; I mean nothing more by than to call you by what you are.

“I’m coming to this in good faith just as you’re coming to it as a bigot…In other words, I call you a racist just as you would call me a liberal;”
Ryan, seriously, this just shows how pathetic you are at defending your “radical” position (And yes your position is radical because support in the polls for open borders hovers around 7-10% with 90% opposed). You call me a racist and a bigot because I am against illegal immigration. Can you please provide 1 example of something I’ve written which would tend to indicate my “racist” thoughts or my “bigoted” beliefs?? No, you can’t, but you continue to call me those names, which is fine because it continues to show how how weak and pathetic your pro-amnesty argument is.
To quote one of your earlier blog posts:
“Tell me why you feel an anti-amnesty position is not racist, bigoted, and xenophobic.”
Because my anti-amnesty for illegal immigrants position is based on fairness & crime/security interests.
1) It is not fair to let illegal immigrants (especially those who haven’t paid taxes) become citizens with no process or rules when legal immigrants have had to go through a structured, rigorous, expensive process to become citizens. You probably were the kid in school who turned his paper in late yet ended up with the same grade as the other kids who followed the rules and turned it in on time so you don’t see a problem with this (I’m guessing you whined that the teacher was racist or bigoted in order to not get points deducted on it). But most of us who follow the rules and abide by the laws do see a problem with it.
2) The reason Open Borders is an extremely stupid idea (possibly one of the worst ideas I have ever heard) is because you can’t stop the bad (i.e criminal) people from coming in here whether they are people who want to traffic drugs, join gangs, commit rape, murder, robbery, or acts of terrorism. This is why your position is radical. Because you have no way of stopping bad people that want to do harmful, unlawful things to from coming into the country. That is the core reason why your position is stupid, radical, and most importantly, unsafe.
