Damn she has a lot of clothes. She is singlehandedly keeping a sweatshop going.

LOL! Nice work!

Jeebus, you nailed that, dintcha, Skippy? I only watch this slop once in a while because…well, because Ryan has graciously agreed to undergo that torment so we don’t have to. So I had no clue she had such huge closets.
Someone else sent me her Lieberman rant today. Isn’t it amazing how consistently she makes no sense at all, regardless of what clothes she’s wearing or what medium she’s working?
Comment by Landru — June 28, 2006 @ 8:18 pm
Oh, and more importantly: smack-freaking-tabulous work, Ryan. Thank you, a million times.

I’m so tempted to somehow mash this with “Hey Hey We’re the Monkeys.” Oy.
Comment by skippy — June 28, 2006 @ 9:54 pm
Wow I just posted something that I think officially makes me a n old time Democrat.

How would you propose we fight international terrorism? Islamic evil? State-sponsored persecution of Jews? Leave Malkin alone - she’s the REAL American heroine.
Comment by Tarquin — June 29, 2006 @ 9:53 am
I propose that Michele and Tarquin take on those tasks by joining the military immediately.
Islamic evil? Give me a break.
Comment by skippy — June 29, 2006 @ 10:52 am
Oh and please choose a better nom d’guerre, Tarquin. Do you even know who the hell the Tarquini were and what they were responsible for? Perhaps you do. Perhaps you desire tyranny. Seems so.
Comment by skippy — June 29, 2006 @ 10:56 am
Just seeing her makes me throw up in my mouth a little. Thanks for that.

she’s the REAL American heroine.
She’s GI Joe???
Comment by Shelby Tse — June 29, 2006 @ 2:00 pm
Thanks for the positive feedback, (almost) everyone. I’d been kicking around this idea for awhile, and I’m glad it turned out better than totally shitty.
Note to Tarquin: What the hell are you on about? This post is about *ridiculing* Michelle’s broadcasting style — using the terms loosely. It has nothing to do with criticizing Michelle’s racist approach to fighting “international terrorism”. BTW, how much would it cost me to have you go around to the conservative blogs acting like a Malkin(s)Watch groupie?
Comment by Ryan — June 29, 2006 @ 4:23 pm
Uhm…I respectfully submit that if you’re going to pay, you can probably get better help.
Comment by landru — June 29, 2006 @ 5:41 pm
That’s an excellent point, Landru. But the deal could be more service-oriented than cash-oriented, if you know what I mean.
On a related note, I’ve been wondering lately how non-native English speakers are taught the difference between the words “priceless” and “worthless”. I’m sure Tarquin’s comment would be useful in making this distinction.
Comment by Ryan — June 29, 2006 @ 5:46 pm
A true reactionary should be pleased with the barter-style arrangement you appear to suggest. Viva la reactolution!
Very tangentially, and only because I like to ramble when I’m reminded of happy memories: I had an interesting experience not long ago with some non-native very-nearly-English speakers (in China) over the words “rubber” and “eraser.” I had tragic difficulty helping them to understand why I thought that, at least around Americans, the latter would better and more safely convey what they wanted.
