Caption!?! I thought “Unhinged” was an autobiography and this picture was from the “Meet the Author” section inside the cover.
[There’s always the back cover of the paperback edition. -Ryan]

Yo, some of us take offense to those ping pong ball jokes, regardless who it’s directed to.
On a happier note, I’d never thought I’d see this girl close to losing it. Do these people have some of kind of supiority complex that they have a panic attack when proven wrong? I miss the good old fashioned discussions when one would just say “Okay, you do have a point….”
[Besides being a point concerning MM’s stance on profiling, I think the ping-pong jokes come up simply because they’ve been proven to get under her skin. It should be noted by all that these jokes remain incredibly offensive. -Ryan]

Does anyone else remember that Ariana Huffington used to be a Michelle Malkin? Oy.
Comment by skippy — June 22, 2006 @ 1:46 am
I do remember Huffington’s days on the other side. The question of “What if Malkin changed sides” makes my head hurt.
As to the ping-pong ball thing, I’m not going to pretend it’s not rude. Is it wrong to fight rudeness with rudeness? Probably, despite the certain satisfaction. I apologize to anyone other than Michelle Malkin who’s offended by my re-use of that theme. If I had ever seen her apologize for any of her equally offensive frothing, I wouldn’t be nearly as inclined to lash out that way.
I also figured that if I had gone over the top, Ryan was (and remains) free to delete my comment(s). For my part, I’m not at all sure what legal means are over the top in arguing about someone like Malkin. Sadly, incivility remains legal–a concept she leverages just about every day.

DFH (#3)–
It’s a bit unfair of you to post that caption so early. There’s no way I’m going to be able to come up with something that funny.

Actually, the original picture was a good enough caption.
Unless I’m thick and this was TBogg’s idea?
