Note to Michelle

This is what you get for escalating the rhetoric. Deep breaths will just make you dizzy Chicken Littles, instead of the plain ol’ wannabe headless ones.

  1. When I read that one yesterday I was kind of amused and baffled. What point is Malkin making by presenting it? That she supports such idiotic behavior? That she admires someone who attacks a person who isn’t speaking English? What’s her freaking point?

  2. skippy,

I believe she’s telling her readers to calm down, hence the “Everyone, take a deep breath” line. She needs to make it clear that she opposes violence towards immigrants, so people (like me, I suppose) won’t use an incident like this against her.

  3. Maybe. As with everything Malkin there seems to be some half-baked agenda here.

    Hilarity.

  5. Yeah, eb. I paused a bit after typing that.

But it’s true that someone as high-profile as MM, can’t afford to be labeled as a catalyst for this kind of thing. Otherwise, she would just further marginalize herself and her agenda, which she’s spent years attempting to avoid.

  7. The half-baked agenda I thought she might be going to front was it was the Spanish speker’s fault for speaking Spanish. That would not be a first for her.

  8. I wonder if Michelle bitch slaps her parents every time they speak Tagalog to each other.
