Allahpundit picks up the ball almost seamlessly…

…describing a law which essentially codifies age discrimination as “inform[ing] France’s youth that, no, they’re not entitled to lifetime job security by age 26.”

If 22% of people under age 25 were unemployed in this country, I think we’d see some rioting, the wingers’ air of superiority notwithstanding. Then again, if the law were in place we might have been saved the Ben Domenech drama.

  1. Don’t worry. I think soon enough we’ll see the same faux populist right-wingers who crowed about that trying to incite real American white folk to real American violence against Messican “guest workers”.

  3. Here’s a thought. What if Malkin had pulled an April Fool’s like La Shawn Barber did? You guys probably would have would have gotten about three or four words into the bogus post and wet yourselves from all the excitement. I can see it even now: “I knew it was Rove… and Jesse… and - and, uh, extraterrestrials! And Rove!” Yeah, that would have been fun.

  4. John,

I’m also a (very intermittent) contributor at the Liberal Avenger. I also enjoyed Purblind Jism. The liberal blogosphere INVENTED April Fool’s blog jokes.

Unlike some wingnuts, I have a pretty good bullshit detector. Most liberals do. It’s what makes us liberals. Maybe if your bullshit detector was working a little better, you’d see both Malkin and the Bush administration for what they are.

  5. LaShawn’s effort was kind of cute, though, if a little (very) obvious.
