Auguste: Amateur Diagnostician
If this photo is “heart-stopping” I recommend angioplasty.
This stunt may be the nail in the coffin of any guest-worker/amnesty plan on the table in Washington.
Ohh, if wishes were horses, eh, Malkin?

Heart stopping probably isn’t a good way to describe that picture only because much of America has already been desensitized to this kind of anti-American hatred. But yeah, it’s pretty bad. I can certainly understand that people want to come here and work, but the fact that they don’t want to assimilate is a huge problem. The only reason the Dems support illegal immigration is because it means more votes for them. Why so many Republicans support it I will never know. After all, illegal immigrations is not only bad for America, but it hurts the Republicans politically. It’s a double negative for the GOP and they’re too stupid to figure it out.
BTW: Did you see the Mohammad fish? That is the funniest thing.

Actually, I think it’s less about being desensitized and more about not feeling threatened by free speech as practiced by Whittier, California high school students.
Call me crazy.
Two more questions about your comments, John:
How does illegal immigration lead to more votes for anyone?
How does non-assimilation (of first-generation immigrants, btw, since the second generation assimilates pretty quickly) equal “a huge problem”?

Funny how people can look at photos like this (warning it’s anot a pretty photograph) and not bat an eylid, but have one piece of cloth under another and they blow a gasket

Hey, Auguste:
(Auguste edits link - still not sure how to change blogsome settings to allow linking…)
I bet he left out the bit where Malkin says “Of course, conservatives are just as unhinged as liberals, I just don’t think liberal moonbattery has been adequately documented.”

Illegal immigrants rarely vote. It is not uncommon to find immigration vehicles parked outside polling places to scare them off, but for the most part they’re too busy working and keeping their heads down to vote.
American citizens rarely vote, for that matter, just from the statistics. And they’re pretty sure they won’t get deported if they try.
In fact, I would say that to the contrary illegal immigration means more votes for the GOP as people decide “something has to be done”.
And as for what unassimilated immigrants do for republicans, beyond being obvious targets for class resentment, they tend to be good workers, or at least easily cowed ones. That’s usually good enough.
I’ve seen an actual green card holding employee told that INS would be called and she’d be deported if she didn’t agree not to file an on the job injury report.
Employees too scared to unionize, demand overtime (or in some cases paychecks that are arbitrarily withheld), file for workman’s comp, or report unsafe working conditions–you don’t think the money class benefits from that?
